Turning Trend Forecasts into Tangible Prints: A Kidswear Blanket
How I used Weaver AI to turn WGSN A/W 26-27 forecasts into a playful blanket print concept — from inspiration to mockup in one seamless loop.
As part of my ongoing exploration into kidswear print development, I recently created a playful blanket concept that blends trend inspiration with technology — all powered by Weaver AI.
This collection draws directly from the WGSN Autumn/Winter 26/27 Kids Prints & Graphics Capsule, a rich reference full of warm, comforting themes like books, bears, cozy mugs, and expressive childlike characters.

Here’s a breakdown of my creative workflow using Weaver AI:
STEP 1: Setting the Design Direction
I started by identifying an artwork from the WGSN capsule that had a cohesive narrative — one that celebrated reading, warmth, and personality. It included elements like stacked books, hot cocoa mugs, and illustrated children with expressive outfits.
I uploaded this into Weaver AI’s ‘Text to Design (Pro)’ section, providing a clear prompt:
"Take inspiration from the artwork above — mugs, books, characters — and generate a clean and cute pattern."
STEP 2: Visual Try-On with Product Mockup
To visualize how the design would work on an actual product, I used Weaver AI’s Try-On Tool. I selected the Pro Mode blanket mockup for a realistic render and simply prompted:
"Put the design I generated on the blanket mockup."
Weaver AI seamlessly placed the design across the bedding, giving me a high-quality, photoreal preview — the kind that’s ready for pitching or posting.
Why This Matters
This whole process — from trend to textile to product mockup — was achieved without switching between multiple tools. Weaver AI enabled me to iterate quickly, stay aligned with forecasted trends, and see my concept through to near-production visuals, all within one ecosystem.
Whether you're working on a concept presentation, a pitch for production, or just refining your design storytelling, this kind of workflow is a massive win — especially for interns, independent designers, and fast-moving studios.
